The Catena 1x1 SISO Dual Band 802.11ac Transceiver IP is a complete front-end optimized for high performance WiFi applications. It is compliant with the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac standards and designed for manufacturing in the TSMC 28nm HPC process, which makes it suitable for high-end applications like access points and wireless routers.
The Catena low power connectivity front-end IP is designed for use in a wide range of SoC integrations for Bluetooth low energy and IEEE802.15.4 applications. It enables implementations that are compliant with Bluetooth Core Specification version 4.2 and to IEEE802.15.4-2011 Clause 10 for ZigBee applications. It is prepared for compliance with all PHY-related features of Bluetooth 5, including 2 Mb/s and Long Range modes. The IP includes the RF transceiver, a digital signal conditioning block to connect to a suitable modem/MAC in order to build a complete combo wireless node, and a low-level radio controller. It fits seamlessly into the ARM® Cordio® platform. The IP is designed for manufacturing in TSMC's 28 nm HPC(+) technology. The IP has excellent RF performance in combination with low power consumption and small die area and is suitable for applications with extremely low external component count. To ease SoC integration with other connectivity IPs, special attention has been given to co-existence performance.
The Catena 2x2 MIMO dual-band IEEE 802.11ac and dual-mode Bluetooth transceiver IP consists of a complete front-end optimized for high performance WiFi applications such as access points and wireless routers, together with a dual-mode Bluetooth transceiver. It is compliant with the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5 standards. The IP has been designed for manufacturing in the TSMC 28 nm HPC/HPC+ technology.
